After years of being dark, we are thrilled to bring Weekend Revue back to Looking Glass Theatre! This musical revue will compile songs from your favorite TV shows, movies, and stage productions into one family-friendly show this September 15, 16, and 17.
What song have you always wanted to perform? Weekend Revue is your chance to make it a reality! If it's been featured in a movie, TV show or theatrical production, it's fair game. Solos, duets, trios, and quartets are all encouraged, and we welcome suggestions for larger group numbers to include most or all of the cast.
AUDITIONS
- Thursday, June 22 7-9PM
- Saturday, June 24 10AM-Noon
Come anytime during one of our audition windows prepared to sing your chosen song. It doesn't need to be memorized or perfected - that's what rehearsals are for! While we have a pianist you can work with for rehearsals and performances, all auditions must be accompanied by pre-recorded music that you bring with you.
Songs should not exceed 3:30 minutes in length.
Please come ready to share any known conflicts with rehearsals.
REHEARSALS
- Mondays 6-9PM
- Thursdays 6-9PM
- Saturdays 10AM-Noon
Not all cast will be called for each rehearsal, so sharing your conflicts with us can help us build an accommodating rehearsal schedule. Cast members can expect to rehearse 1-2 times per week in July and August. September rehearsals will be more frequent as we work through tech week and dress rehearsals.
Weekend Revue cast will perform in their selected number(s) and ensemble pieces.
